Venice - St Mark's Campanile

Victor Harbor. On top of Rosetta Head at the BLuff is this memorial to the meeting of explorers French Baudin and English Flinders in March 1802. Flinders named the bay Encounter Bay.

Rapid Bay. Plaque on the Colonel William Light cairn. This is for Captain Matthew Flinders who named nearby Cape Jervis in March 1802. Plaque erected 1948.
