Moona Mines copper mining site. Hughes Enginehouse built 1865 and the Hughes Boiler House and chimney built 1865. Nearby the Hughes, Elder and Barr Smith shafts. Three boilers imported from Cornwall.

Kapunda. The 1858 built Congregational Church. Sir Sidney Kidman was a staunch Congregationalist and worshipped here until he moved to Unley Park in 1921. It is now used as a theatre.

Kapunda. South Australian copper mining town. A track side view of the Kapunda Railway station which was completed in 1860. It closed in the 1980s and is now a residence. The silos are still in use.

Kapunda. The rose window of St Rose Catholic church. It was built in 1938 but the first catholic Church was built nearby at Koonunga in 1850. First Catholic Church in Kapunda was built 1862 demolished 1946.

Moonta Mines historic copper mining site. Hughes Enginehouse built in 1865 by Walter Watson Hughes and associates.Closed 1923. Had a 60 inch Cornish engine. Next to stables, boiler house and concentrating tanks.

Watervale. SA. Hughes Park estate. Established 1845. The grand house for Sir Walter Watson Hughes was a single storey house. Enlarged with this Victoria tower ikn 1900 when owned by his heirs the Duncan family

Adelaide. Wayville. The Kidman Gates donated by Sir Sidney Kidman's family in 1937. He died 1935. They were in front of Centennial Hall built 1936 now they are the northern entrance to the Wayville Showgrounds.

Adelaide. Highgate. Charles Eaton Taplin architect designed this Gothic Malvern College in 1899. This is the central part only. Concordia school and seminary began in 1890 in Murtoa Vic. Moved here in 1905 at Highate.

Watervale. SA. Hughes Park estate. Established 1845. The single storey house was built for Sir Walter Watson Hughes in 1862 . Enlarged with a Victoria tower and two storey in 1900 when owned by his heirs the Duncan family

Watervale. The entrance gates to Hughes Park estate. Developed by Sir Walter Watson Hughes who was the major investor in Moonta and Wallaroo copper mines.

Kapunda. South Australian copper mining town from 1842 to 1878. Wonderful intricate pattern cast iron lace work on the veranda of an 1880s house cast in the Hawke Foundry of Kapunda.
