Wellington. NSW. Warne Street panorma with 1883 former Bank of New South Wales and the square tower of the Catholic Church built bewteen 1863 and 1875.

Orroroo South Australia. Main Street in mid winter. Newsagency, pharmacy, hardware shop and coffee shop.

Wellington. This was built during World War One as Howlands Garage. A fine curvaceous pediment.

Adelaide. Art Deco two storey house called Hamilton House. Rounded corner windows and walls, cement rendered walls, rows of hard fired red bricks at base, terracotta tiles, horizontal grouves in render above entry porch.

Wellington. NSW. Embellishments on the 1912 built Courthouse. Sandstone carving of GR for George Fifth 1910 to 1936.

Wellington. The Bank of New South Wales in Nanima Street. Built in 1922. Some classical features. The roof balustrade. Shields on columns.

Orroroo Railway Station and the silos behind. Now a private house. The railway line from Peterborough and Adelaide reached Orroroo in 1881 as it was pushed northwards to Quorn to link to Port Augusta and eventually Perth from 1917.

G & R Wills Warehouse, Adelaide

Wellington. NSW. Built as Union Bank in 1921. Note coat of arms in cartouche above doorway on edge of laneway. Note weird shaped balcony above doorway. Terracotta roof tiles. Later ANZ bank till 1900s.

Wellington. Old public hall with roof ventilators. Early 20th century with curvaceous pediment.

CEL: City Electric & Light Company & (Former) Austral Motors Building (Brisbane, Queensland)

Wellington. The Catholic Convent of Mercy built around 1900.

Wellington. Mrs Attwood’s Ladies Dress shop built in 1918. Curved pediment, cast iron lace work on balcony etc. Was men’s’ wear now solicitors offices. Impressive.

Adelaide South Australia. Bosley pottery souvenir pottery plate produced for the Centenary of South Australia in 1936. Depicts the Old Gum tree at Glenelg where the colony was proclaimed. The ship is the Buffalo from the first fleet.
